Casual Smex Friday with A.R. Von!

Casual Smex Friday

Hello All,

Welcome back to Casual Smex Friday! Today I've got another smexy author stopping by to share a little naugthy with us.

For those of you unfamiliar with the CSF posts, here's a quick breakdown. On Casual Smex Friday you’re encouraged to sit back, relax and get smexy. Remember that Smex day posts consist of the following four segments:

1.) The Quickie- For those of you who only have time for some quick relief.

2.) The Afternoon Delight- For the reader who wants a little foreplay before smexing.

3.) The Midnight Grind- For those of you who want to go beyond foreplay and get to main show.

4.) The After Glow Strut- For those of you not afraid to show your love and go for another round.

So without further ado please welcome the smexily mysitical and surprisingly naughty author A.R. Von.

The Quickie…

Name: A.R. Von

Stats: A.R. is a mother of two entertaining teen boys (as well as a lovely fawn Chihuahua, whom she considers her furry daughter.) She’s also a wife to a delightfully handsome and amazingly funny man-beast. She’s an avid reader of many genres which include (but are not limited to) erotica, paranormal, ménage, fantasy, YA, historical and some western (she has to have a hot cowboy, or two, here and there). She also loves to exercise, listen to music, hike, cook, dance and write. She writes to free her mind of its constant wondering and loves the fact she can share it with readers that have the same passion for a great story. She also loves to hear from her reader’s and chat away, so feel free to reach out to her any time.

Latest Release: Wunder (#1 The Approach)

Genre: Erotic paranormal romance/Zombi-lit Content rating: 18+

Wunder (#1 The Approach) Wunder isn’t your average girl, in fact, she isn’t even an average human. In a world ravaged by Zombies, she was born amidst the chaos. Where can a girl like her find the man of her delicious dreams? She has an idea and it leads her to the hottest new club in town, where she finds what’s been missing in her life.

Pete has his own secrets to tell, and when they come together, another story unfolds while the sparks fly.

Availability: Amazon US | UK | CA

Smex Quotient: Finding love in the age of zombies? Hell yeah! I flat out LOVED this read. Aside from the chemistry between the smexy Wunder and Pete, I loved the concept of a "semi-zombie" erotic fiction. It was incredibly well done.

The Afternoon Delight…

I love a good paranormal and the concept of a zombie world sounds both scary and cool. Why did you choose to put them in your book?

What brought me to bring Wunder to life was a ‘request’ for writers to submit a zombie story for an anthology on Halloween to help raise money for Diabetes, it caught my eye and had me thinking. I LOVE scary movies and always had fun watching zombies dragging their feet letting us know they wanted “BRAINS” & it will give me a chance to help a worthy cause. I did not want to go the regular zombie way though. Not everyone enjoys gore like I do. I needed to do something different, that I've never seen, heard of or read. So I wrote Wunder (Originally titled “Because I Am”). Now here we are.

The chemistry between Wunder and Pete is hot with a capital H! What was your favorite scene to write?

As of right now, my favorite scene to write is within Wunder (0.5 Dreamz). Wunder sees Pete for the very first time, EVER and it trying to lip read what he is saying to a friend. I cannot tell you any more from there. I don't want to ruin it. But I laughed so very hard when I wrote it :)

Secrets and lies always add an interesting dimension to a romance. Without revealing too much, was it difficult getting Wunder and Pete together in the end?

No, not at all. These two were meant to be together all of their lives. The readers will get a better understanding of the 'how' and 'why' once they read both of the series that is out now. I think it's pretty freakin' cool. I LOVE these two together. They really are a hot couple!

If your main characters participated in Casual Smex Friday which segment would they enjoy the most? The Quickie, The Afternoon Delight, The Midnight Grind or The Aafterglow Strut?

Honestly, the way Pete and Wunder are they'll take, do, try out all of the above. They just cannot seem to get enough of one another and have waited all of their lives to meet. Yup, no stopping those two :)

Is there anything else you'd like to tell readers, or any new upcoming projects?

I have a few things going on right now. The next two of the Wunder series are in the works. One of them (Wunder 0.5 DreamZ) will be out next month and I'm hoping to have Wunder #2 Reunion out no later than August. I have another short that’s to be published in an anthology I wrote specifically for WOCA (Writing Out Child Abuse) that’ll be out some time this year. It’s nothing at all like Wunder, no paranormal elements or romance. It’s more of a ‘based on real life’ story, it’s a very emotional story of a child and how she was never listened to…

The Midnight Grind…

A.R. isn't the type to tease and run, so go ahead and take a peak at her excerpt and trailer. . . But let me warn you, you will want more. Just trust me, Wunder is definetly a read that can't be missed!

He sighs, moving his mouth towards my ear, flicking his tongue out softly and caressing my lobe. I shudder in response feeling flutters low in my belly. “I don’t know if I can wait any longer to have you. I need to taste you—feel you.” Oh my, did my panties just get wet? “Yes!” I say with a heavenly sigh. “Please,” I answer as if he’s offering food while I’ve been starving for days. He uses his tongue superbly to lick all the way down along the column of my throat. Sensuously, he places precise kisses all the way back up, until he hovers over my lips, looking hungrily into my eyes. “I’m going to kiss you now, Wunder. Then, I’m going to take you and make you mine. If you don’t want that? Now, would be the time to tell me.” I’m swaying on my feet, gazing into his eyes—at a loss for words. Finally, I find my voice. “Please.”

The Afterglow Strut…

You know you want more so don't be too shy to beg (sweetly of course). As a matter of fact A.R. was nice enough to let me know thathe preqel for Wunder, Wunder (0.5 DreamZ) dropped yesterday on Amazon, so run on over and check it out!

Casual Smex Friday

Hello All,

Welcome back to Casual Smex Friday! Today I've got another smexy author stopping by to share a little naugthy with us.

So without further ado please welcome the sweetly naughty and deliciously raunchy author C.R. Moss.

The Quickie…

Name: C.R. Moss

Smex Quotient: Uhhh, you did read that blurb right? Don't let the legnth fool you. This spicy short read is full of heart and scorhing heat. Two men, one woman, one night of trust, lust and the promise of much more. . .need I say more?

The Afternoon Delight…

This trio of lovers most definitely have more than a bit of sizzle. What made you decide on a polyamorous/menage relationship for this story?

When I was developing the story, Ivy was originally going on the date herself, but her friend didn’t want her to go up the mountain alone. So, when he decided to tag along, the man up at the resort told me he’d be up for a threesome. Since Ivy and Kiran are adventurous souls and had wanted to add a third to their dynamic, it all worked out.

I'm used to seeing m/f/m menage romances where the two men are friends and they pursue the woman. I like the idea that your story is set up with the "alpha" pursuing a m/f pair of friends. What made you decide to tilt the usual standard for this story?

The characters wanted it that way, and I just typed what they dictated. ;) Plus, like you said, it’s a different and interesting way to approach a ménage relationship.

The 1 Night Stand series never seems to disappoint when it comes to packing a lot of heat into a small package. How do you go about planning a short story/novella yet still keep the story full and complete?

It’s a bit difficult trying to get people together, having their relationships and attractions go full speed ahead right from the start, and having it all make sense in such a short time. But with some particular key phrasing and character thought processes throughout the stories, it seems to work. In my first 1NS story (Sunset Desires) and in Sunset Temptations, I have the people meeting for the first time. They all go into their dates with certain expectations about what will happen, so when the attractions and hook-ups do occur, it works within the stories. For my second story (Sunset Seduction) and upcoming fourth one (Sunset Heat), the women are reunited with men they knew once upon a time. With histories already set between them, it made getting the pairs together much easier.

If your main characters participated in Casual Smex Friday which segment would they enjoy the most? The Quickie, The Afternoon Delight, The Midnight Grind or The Aafterglow Strut?

Because it’s a short story and Robert is a busy man, they’d probably go for The Quickie, but if he allowed himself a respite from the business they’d be all into The Midnight Grind. ;)

Is there anything else you'd like to tell readers, or any new upcoming projects?

I’m having a ‘Sunset Blog Tour and Scavenger Hunt’ June 3 thru 13 in celebration of the release of Sunset Temptations. For details and lists of the dates, locations and prizes of this tour and hunt, visit: http://crmoss.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_26.html .

As for upcoming projects, my writing partner and I are working on more sexy Double D Ranch Tales so stay tuned to my website and blogs for updates on them. And come meet us in Las Vegas, NV on October 2013 for Hot Mojave Knights!

Thanks for having me on your blog today, and thank you, readers, for stopping by!

The Midnight Grind…

You know that C.R. wouldn't just strut on by without leaving us with a smexy exerpt to kick off our weekend. But be prepared, the following excerpt is only for the grown and smexy, not to mention the naughty! Yes I'm talking to you. . .

Robert kept from shifting from foot to foot. His breathlessness shocked him.

Did they have good news for him? “Yes? Have you made a decision?”

Ivy nodded. Kiran said, “Sure. Let’s go for it.”

An answer. And it is yes!

Excitement whizzed through his body and settled in his cock. They wanted to be with him. His heart sang. For so long, he’d been alone. Granted, he had his business, the company of his employees and Brandan, but associations like that didn’t measure up to personal commitments. The affairs he’d had in the past hadn’t been all that great either. He had so much love to give and needed all the excitement, heat, and passion love could provide, too. That’s why he desired a polyamorous relationship, and the two perfect people for him were ready and willing.

Feeling more at ease, he stepped forward before either of them had a change of heart. “Ivy, turn around.” He unzipped her dress then slid it down her body. Her black bra and panties contrasted against her pale skin. “Lovely.” He trailed the tips of his fingers down the indent in the middle of her back. “So soft.”

Kiran removed his jacket and tie. Robert stood in front of him and helped him unbutton his shirt. When it fell open, exposing a smooth chest and chiseled abdominal muscles, a groan of deep-seated pleasure escaped him. “You are a work of art.”

“Thank you. I do my best,” Kiran replied with a half-grin.

The entertainer’s sexy smile hit him square in the balls. Robert embraced him and held tight. He molded his mouth upon Kiran’s. Had it been less than two hours since they met? It seemed like they’d known each other for ages. He swept his tongue into the dancer’s mouth. The taste of alcohol and the scent of spicy berries and sandalwood filled his senses. Kiran reciprocated the movements of the kiss, and thoughts of how the man’s lips and tongue would do the same motions to his cock ran rampant in Robert’s mind.

He hated to do it, but he broke the lip lock, and with an arm around his new friend, he turned and gazed at the almost naked woman before them. “She’s beautiful, isn’t she?”

“Yes. She is.”

Robert released Kiran and strolled over to her. He took her hands in his, and held them up in the air. Appraising her well-toned body, lustful stirrings of want and need to sink himself in her hot, moist mouth and pussy streaked through him.

“I think it’s time to retire to the bedroom.” Holding Ivy’s hand, he grasped Kiran’s fingers and led the pair into the master bedroom.

Casual Smex Friday with R. Brennan #HotRead #amreading

Hello All,

Welcome back to Casual Smex Friday! I've been having a blast meeting all the ladies and gents over at Evernight Publishing. One naugthy author in particular was nice enough to stop by and share her latest release with us today.

3.) The Midnight Grind-For those of you who want to go beyond foreplay and get to main show.

4.) The After Glow Strut- For those of you not afraid to show your love and go for another round.

So without further ado please welcome the spanktasticly naughty and deliciously raunchy author R. Brennan. As her bio reads if you're afraid to tread through NSFW waters, you may want to keep on walking. However, if you're in the mood for some seriously smexy reading pull up a chair, loosen that tie or hike up that skirt. It's gonna be gooood!

The Quickie…

Name: R. Brennan

Stats: R. Brennan is a subbie brat with a bitch streak, an IT geek for the state of New York, and reformed gaming addict raising her daughters in the rolling hills of Upstate NY. (You know, where it takes a ten minute drive to buy a gallon of milk, and the smell of cows lingers on the breeze.) The brave are welcome to follow her blog: http://bexbooknook.wordpress.com or stalk her on twitter: @bexbrennan Often sarcastic, blunt, and NSFW, but usually entertaining.

Latest Release: A Leap of Faith

Genre: Erotic Romance (BDSM)

A Leap of Faith: New submissive, Faith Daniels is completely infatuated with her amazing Dominant, Richard Halstead, so when he sends her a summons via text message a full day before they had plans to meet, she can barely contain her excitement.

But, Richard didn’t just invite her over for a play date. Not this time. He has a proposition for Faith. One that could change the rest of her life.

Availability: May 15, 2013 on ARe |Amazon | Evernight

Smex Quotient: I'm usually one for lots of control, but hell if this book didn't have me panting to be topped and begging for more please. This is definietely a great HOT read for anyone looking for an engaging read and scorching start to their weekend.

The Afternoon Delight…

BDSM relationships have so many interesting facets of trust. What made you decide to make Faith and Richard's romance a Dom/sub one?

I spent a good deal of my adult life in the BDSM and D/s lifestyle. I'm not immersed in it 24/7 anymore, but many of my previous sexual relationships had at least some sort of "lifestyle" dynamic. It's what I enjoy in the bedroom, so when it came time to write a "bedroom scene" it just came naturally. If I enjoy it and it gets me hot, I have to believe there are readers out there that would enjoy it as well.

What was your favorite scene to write, without giving too much away of course?

My favorite scene in the book, by far, is the dinner scene. It comes early in the story, and is not something I have actually ever experienced, but that being said, it's on my TO DO list. So sensual and submissive -- I don't want to say more than that and spoil anything, but I can't wait to see what readers think about it.

Richard sounds like a Dom any sub would love to bottom for. What was your inspiration for his character?

He is actually named for my Uncle Richard. Before you think that's weird, let me explain. Uncle Rich, "Unc" as we call him, had been teasing me because the paranormal romance I wrote under my "mainstream" pen name (Rebecca Hart) featured a main character named after my dad (Daniel). I promised him I'd name the next leading man after him. That leading man happened to be the sexy, oh so dominant, Richard Halstead. His traits are a melding of all the things I loved most about the Dom men I have "served" in my real life. I guess he's my idea of the perfect Dom.

If your main characters participated in Casual Smex Friday which segment would they enjoy the most? The Quickie, The Afternoon Delight, The Midnight Grind or The Aafterglow Strut?

I would have to go with the midnight grind. Richard doesn't seem to really fit into the quickie category and he is a businessman, so afternoons are probably out as well. I guess he could be part of the afterglow crowd... but that is more his partners than him. *grins*

Is there anything else you'd like to tell readers, or any new upcoming projects?

A Leap of Faith is my first stand alone piece with Evernight Publishing and the continuation of my story FAITH'S GIFT from the Vanilla-Free Christmas anthology. This will be the second story of hopefully many tales in what I've decided to call my Roses and Thorns series. Each story will feature Faith and Richard and follow the development of their Dom/sub relationship.

The Midnight Grind…

I should have known that Mzzz. Brennan wouldn't stop by without dropping some serious heat our way. The warning here is clear...The following excerpt is for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY. If the idea of being topped by a hot Dom and having their sole purpose be your pleasure, then please again step away...That's right it's only for the grown and smexy...and obedient...

Strong hands grabbed hold of her kneecaps, startling her. Richard jerked her legs apart until she knelt in an exposed V position. His voice arrived close to her ear, sending a chill through her. “When I ask you to kneel for me, this is how you are to do it. I want you to display your desire. Show your need with the pride of a submissive. Do you understand me, Faith?”

Her body ached for his touch. The brush of his hand, the caress of a breast. Anything. She’d even welcome the slap of his paddle if it meant he’d touch her again. “Yes, Sir.” Her voice was little more than a hoarse whisper.

“That’s my girl.” He slid a finger along her wet opening. Half a breath later, she heard his lips smack together, as if he’d just finished eating barbeque ribs. “Sweet nectar.” His hand returned to probe her slit. A finger entered her.

A gasp of pleasure tore from Faith’s throat, contorting into a whimper when he withdrew from her quivering pussy.

He traced a fingertip over her mouth, coating her lips with the evidence of her arousal.

The carnal scent of her juices surrounded her, pushing Faith toward the mindless black abyss of wanton need. Her nails dug into the flesh of her forearms as she willed herself to resist reaching for him again.

Two fingers forced their way into her mouth. “Taste your desire.”

Faith sucked them clean, her tongue swirling sensually around each offered digit.

Richard abruptly withdrew his hand and moved away.

Solitude rushed in to fill the space he left behind, leaving Faith breathless.

He signaled his return a few pounding heartbeats later with the ‘snap’ of his leash on her collar. “Come, pet,” he commanded.

Casual Smex Friday with D.C. McMillen

Hello All,

Welcome back to Casual Smex Friday! Spring is officially in full swing, and what's spring without a few formal occasions and some weddings? Today's Casual Smex Friday will give you a lesson on how to enjoy all of those boring formal events you may attend this year.

3.) The Midnight Grind-For those of you who want to go beyond foreplay and get to main show.

4.) The After Glow Strut- For those of you not afraid to show your love and go for another round.

Today I’m bringing you an interview with the wikedly naughty and oh so talented D.C. McMillen. So slip on your favorite pair of F#$% Me! shoes and your naughtiest outfit, we've got a wedding to attend, and trust me, this one is so far from boring...

The Quickie…

Name: D.C. McMillen

Stats: D.C. McMillen is writer and blogger living in Toronto, Canada. She enjoys writing about dirty sex in questionable places but has been known to write about other subjects, on special occasions.

D.C. is featured in MuseItHot’s Short and Spicy line up with The Rental, A Decent December and her latest release, The Wedding. In addition, she can be seen in several anthologies and writerly blogs. D.C. is obsessed with Twitter and invites you to look her up at @mcmillendc, her e-rotica blog or on Facebook.

Latest Release: The Wedding

Genre: Erotic Contemporary Romance

The Wedding: Karen is not the type to attend a wedding with a guy she’s only slept with once but, in a rare display of empathy, she agrees to accompany her new landlord Allan to this sure-to-be-boring function. Fortunately, Karen knows how to have a good time, and she’s pretty sure she and Allan can make their own fun...even if they have to do it in the outdoors just steps away from a couple hundred stuffy wedding guests.

Availability: ARe |Amazon | MuseItUp

Smex Quotient: I'm officially looking foraward to my next formal event! Who knew they could be so...stimulating. This is definietely one HOT read. It's a great mini escape for those of you in the mood for a spring heat wave...

The Afternoon Delight…

Karen seems to have some interesting ideas regarding wedding entertainment. What were your inspirations for her character and her actions?

I’d love to reveal some super creative and entertaining train of thought that led to my idea to place Karen at a stuffy wedding. The truth, however, is that my boyfriend and I just have a habit of sneaking off during boring functions. Karen, well she just seems like the type to do the same. Please don’t think that this means I’ve based Karen and Allen’s characters on that of myself and my boyfriend. I simply thought it would be push her into a situation I’ve been in once or twice, while giving the scenario a special Karen twist

Why did you choose a wedding as the backdrop to your story?

Weddings do have the tendency to suck, don’t they? The only thing more annoying than a stuffy wedding is a stuffy wedding with a cash bar. While I couldn’t possibly subject Karen to that situation, I did want to drop her in a place that would bring out the fun, slightly bitchy side of her personality, and at the same time show how well Allen just goes with the flow. Opposites do attract if placed in the proper setting. ;)

Allen's character is an interesting blend of wicked and sweet. What made you decide to write his character this way?

Many romance stories involve men who are inwardly facing some personal demon/s from their past. They meet nurturing, patient, sweet heroines who somehow just know that their alpha males are hurting. These selfless women become determined to save the men from themselves even though it causes self-doubt, emotional torture, misadventure and a comedy of communication errors along the way.

Yeah, Karen is definitely not that type of heroine. Nothing makes her run from a guy faster than an excess of personal baggage. And Allen is not only suffering from a very heavy load of personal problems, he wears his issues like a cape instead of hiding them beneath bravado and obvious masculinity. Fortunately Karen does not seem to have to do anything other behave like her naturally fabulous self to draw out his lurking confidence and oh so appealing dominant sexual nature.

If Karen and Allen were to participate in Casual Smex Friday which segment would they prefer. The Quickie, The Afternoon Delight or The Midnight Grind?

Karen and Allen would definitely participate in the midnight grind above all else. Why? Well, to begin with, the midnight grind just sounds dirtier doesn’t it? A little more intense? And Karen approves of a little intensity to keep her sex life interesting.

Are there any new or upcoming projects you'd like to tell the readers about?

Yes! But first let me tell you about The Rental. While it is not a prerequisite read for The Wedding, it does explain how Karen and Allen met. It’s a super fun and sexy story so if you like the excerpt I’ve provided, why not consider picking up both The Rental and The Wedding?

I have also written a follow up to The Wedding and recently submitted it to the publisher. Hopefully it will be accepted and I can share an excerpt from The Alley in an upcoming Casual Smex Friday post.

The Midnight Grind…

So D.C. is just proving that she's the ultimate tease...She's left us a little snippet of Karen and Allen and their smoking chemistry. These two definietly know how to heat up a page and each other...

Carefully balancing the overflowing glass in one hand and a smutty paperback in the other, I sauntered into the living room. After placing both beside my open laptop on the modern glass coffee table in front of me, my body sank into the ridiculously comfortable sofa. Where did Allan find such a gem? My landlord—and guy I had sex with once—had excellent taste. I kicked off my hot pink stilettos, tucked my feet under me and wrapped a cream coloured cashmere throw around my lower body.

I reached for my book but paused when the familiar bloop bloop of Skype announced someone was video calling. Scooping up my laptop, I clicked accept. Allan’s charming face appeared on screen.

“Hello Allan, It’s nice to see you,” I said, amused. The guy just Skyped me three days ago. This was starting to become a regular thing. Truthfully I didn’t mind. If it were not for the fact that Allan was in Philadelphia while I was stuck here in Chicago, the guy would be much more than just a one-time lover.

“Hi Karen, I’m not, uh, interrupting am I? I can call back later...” his voice trailed off. I rolled my eyes.

“No, Allan. What can I do for you? Would you like me to get naked for the camera again?”

His face blushed to the colour of my heels. “Well, that was a fun experiment. Perhaps I could hold off my question until later,” he answered. Even through the shitty quality of video, his eyes flashed, complimenting the wicked smile smeared across his face. Good. Confident Allan was back, if only momentarily.

“What question is that, Baby?” In the little corner of the screen that held my image, I could see my lips curled upward, matching Allan’s expression.

“Oh, um, I’m going to be in town next weekend,” he said.

“Mmm, I like where this is going,” I interrupted.

“I have to attend a wedding. My best friend from childhood is getting hitched that Saturday.”

“Not the one you caught in the shower with your ex and his wife?”

Allan’s eyes dulled. “No, not him,” he answered. “A real friend.”

A tiny stab of guilt landed in my gut. I considered apologizing for bringing up the painful memory, but dismissed the thought. That happened, like, eight months ago. The guy should just get over it.

“So what, you want to meet after the wedding? I’m free on Sunday so that could work out perfectly.”

“Well, no...er...”

I rolled my eyes again, a twinge of annoyance fluttering in my stomach.

“What can I do for you, Allan?”

“Come to the wedding with me?”

What?!

“As your date? To the church and everything?”

“Well that’s generally how it works, yes,” he said, his tone dry and a little hurt.

Casual Smex Friday with January Valentine

Hello All,

Smex Quotient: Umm...So yeah this book is not your mamma's Sweet Valley High. Seat belts are for sissies and helments are for wimps, you'll want to straddle your co-pilot for this ride lovelies, keep yor eyes wide, hair loose and enjoy the throbbing of that engine...

The Afternoon Delight…

I love that New Adult books have gained so much traction! What drew you to the genre for romance?

With New Adult, a writer can bridge the sexual gap between Young Adult and Contemporary Romance. Because you’re writing for an age group ranging from eighteen and up, this genre offers endless opportunities to tap into the trials and tribulations, drive and accomplishments, as well as the sensual temptations of individuals on the brink of adulthood. There is a natural empathy for the young facing adult situations, and so many ways for them to express themselves colorfully and dramatically. The excitement of youth is something most of us struggle to hold onto, and enjoy revisiting in books and film.

There's something to be said about instant attraction and steamy tension. What was your inspiration for Jewel and Indigo?

My stories are usually about complex and determined heroes and heroines. I love a roller coaster romance, sexy and powerful characters who know what they want and go to any length to achieve their goals. I want my readers to feel love, excitement, surprise, and sexual gratification. This was my objective when writing Head Over Wheels. Jewelia and Indigo are a perfect example of how opposites attract. She’s strong-willed, free-spirited, and eager to discover life, while he is moody and focused to a fault. He’s been burdened with problems and obligations since he was a child. The two come from entirely different backgrounds, and have much to overcome by learning trust and understanding. My intention was to write a story that was involved, yet lighthearted, thus, Head Over Wheels. Actually, the title popped into my head before the plot, and I knew right then and there it would be a refreshing story about an innocent but very steamy love affair with a tremendous amount of emotional and physical tension.

Aside from sounding like they belong together, Jewel and Indigo are so OMG hot together! If they were to participate in Casual Smex Friday which segment would they prefer; The Quickie, The Afternoon Delight, or the Midnight Grind?

Jewel and Indigo are definitely doing the Midnight Grind throughout the entire book. From day one that sexual tension is just waiting to surface. It's a very sexy book, and as the plot unfolds the electricity between the two increases until it explodes in Maine.

Okay now from a professional stand point I just have to gush! I love how you set up the chapters for this book! The chapter headings are just as engaging as the chapters themselves. I especially love the inclusion of images. What made you decided go with this format?

Each chapter contains a story in itself. I used highlights of each to create what I hoped were enticing tag lines. A table of contents containing descriptive chapter tags gives readers a taste of what's in store for them beyond the preview. As for the images, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I'm very descriptive in my writing, and although every reader forms his or her own impression, I wanted to physically share my vision. I guess you could equate Jewel and Indigo's illustrations to flashing a photo of your kids :-)

The Midnight Grind…

So I'm officially sold on the New Adult genre. Oh the lust and...stamina of it all. Totally understanding the sweat currently beading your foreheads, and acknowledging those cute little panting noises you've been making January was nice enough to leave us an excerpt...

As I swung my head, he caught my eye. Dear Lord. Was it him? I did an about-face, plunked the empty glasses on the half wall behind me, fluffed my hair, blotted my lips and pulled a one-eighty.

Holy Shit. How long had he been standing there with his arms spread in welcome? Did he expect me to run into them and hug him? Hell yeah! But all I could do was stare.

Dropping his arms, he stood his ground, an adorable interrogating grin sliding across his face.

Just go with the flow, girl, I told myself as I zigzagged, pivoted, and in seconds, waltzed up to him, attempting to appear stunned to see him while remaining casual.

"Indigo." My presence didn't seem to surprise him, but what I said next sure as hell surprised me. "You didn't call." When my ears heard my childlike voice, my stomach fell.

The curl of his lips grew tighter. "You said you like spontaneity ... so here I am, unannounced."

"Nice try." My hands went to my hips.

His face dropped its earlier expression, but his eyes brimmed with atonement. He reached for my hands, gently tugged me toward him, and the next thing I knew we were standing soft breaths away. With an intentional stare, he drew me closer, like I was a long lost love. A chill rippled down the portion of my back exposed by my daring dress.

I worried his clear eyes clouded ... Didn't have to will mine to sparkle beneath the lights burning above us. I lost my voice. I mean, I went completely mute, but managed what I hoped was a smile, and not the sick look of stiff lips.

"Hey, you ..." his voice was smooth. "I've been around this club half a dozen times looking for you." His eyes were so intense, I almost froze. His fingers pressed mine with a firm grip, guiding my hands up and onto his shoulders, slowly dancing me backward, all the while staring into my eyes. Still pinning my hands in place, he brought his lips to my ear. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "I really wanted to call, but I wasn't sure when I'd be free ... and I'd never want to break a date with you, Jewel."

A date? My heart broke loose, pounding like the hooves of a stampeding horse. I prayed he couldn't feel the earthquake inside my chest as his arms slid around my waist. Being a doctor, he'd spot a panic attack in a second. I'd be mortified. My legs grew weak. Hold it together, girlfriend. He's just a guy. He's human. Oh my God, no he's not. He's ... he's ...

His breath was warm on my cheek and light, lighter than I felt in his arms as we swayed to the sensual pulse throbbing from overhead speakers. The mind-cleansing scent of cool fresh cologne and peppermint gum rushed my senses. I heard no sound. Saw no other faces. Only Indigo's. And right then he was magically mine, about to become the victim of every electric spark coursing through me.

My fingers tightened, found their way to the back of his neck and up into his hair. Was I really doing this? The way he was holding me, it was like he'd missed me, had longed for me. His lips moved to my neck, softly caressing. My body molded to his in just the right places, my arms urging him closer. Was this a dream?

"It's okay." I heard my hoarse whisper. "I know you're busy. I understand."

"You smell so good. So sweet. Strawberries?" His lips inched up my neck, pausing at the hollow behind my ear where they played, stirring emotions I never knew I had. His hands ran the length of my back, fingers tightening and loosening, as if struggling with intent.

"Mmm. Strawberries." My arms, which had been loosely crossed, locked possessively around his neck. He was warm, gentle, firm, soft; he was every beautiful word I could think of.

"Can I take a bite?" His rich voice teased, so did his hands as they traveled, exploring every inch of my back, then dropped dangerously low. I wondered if he could feel the goose bump skin beneath the delicate fabric that clung to me like a second skin. The slim band of my sheer panties. The panties I prayed would hold up during what I hoped to be the longest night of my life.

"Be my guest." I breathed into his ear.

"You feel so good." His hands on my backside pulled me closer.

Casual Smex Friday with Lily Harlem!

Hello All,

Welcome back to Casal Smex Friday! It's been a long week smex kittens and I don't know about you but TGISmex :) For those of you unfamiliar with the Casual Smex Friday posts, here's a quick breakdown.

3.) The Midnight Grind-For those of you who want to go beyond foreplay and get to main show.

4.) The After Glow Strut- For those of you not afraid to show your love and go for another round.

Today I’m bringing you an interview with the deliciously naughty Lily Harlem. So close the drapes, assume the position (reading position of course) and let’s get the smexing started!

The Quickie…

Name: Lily Harlem

Stats: Lily Harlem is an award-winning author of contemporary erotic romance and erotica and lives in the UK with Mr Harlem and a host of rescued pets. She loves to spend her days dreaming up naughty stories and penning them whilst looking out her attic window at rolling green hills. When you read her books be warned though, the bedroom door is always left wide open and every tiny detail laid bare!

Her latest release, Dangerous to Know, is a short erotic story out at Ellora’s Cave. Dangerous to Know is dark and dirty and follows New Yorker Karen as she explores a dangerous whore fantasy with a man she really should have stayed well away from.

Latest Release: Dangerous to Know

Genre: Erotica/Contemporary Erotic Short

Dangerous to Know: For too many years I’ve hidden a sinful, erotic craving in the darkest corner of my soul. Within this deeply buried sliver, shameful fantasies rule and images—seedy, degrading, filthy images—burn through the dark of the night and hold my dreams hostage.

Luckily, the center of my whore obsession is keen to play my slutty game. I know nothing about him, other than his taste, touch and smell, but that’s how I want it, because the one thing I’m certain of is this man is dangerous to know. But despite the risks, in the very heart of New York, in open view, I’ll tempt him with my wares, show him my skills and prove I’m up for the job.

Availability: Ellora's Cave

Smex Quotient: This one should definitely come with a burn notice! Put the vicar on speed dial cause you're going to be in desperate need of confession. Smudged lipstick and torn pantyhose nevr sounded soooo good! Bless me Father for I have sinned and can't wait to do it again...

The Afternoon Delight…

You have a knack for taking naughty fantasies and bring them to life on a page, what was your inspiration for Dangerous to Know? What's driving your heroine's, Karen, fantasy?

Thanks, I'm thrilled that you think I have the knack for bringing naughty fantasies to life on the page, I certainly try to. When I wrote Dangerous to Know last year I was going through a dark, edgy phase in my writing. I'd just penned Anything for Him with my co-author Natalie Dae and that had turned into a very gritty tale of obsession and desire, also slutty fantasies of being used as an object had been a theme throughout the book. (It was eventually published by Harper Collins). I guess when I decided to write Karen's story I was still in that edgy mood. A picture inspired me of a woman giving a man a blowjob in a dirty backstreet alley. I got to wondering what their story was and decided that she was being paid to service him, not because she needed the money, but because she wanted to experience using sex as a transaction, a business deal. Satisfy a client and be paid for doing so. You see Karen is a sweet, wholesome, hard working woman, she's independent, has a responsible job and to all intents and purposes a perfect all-American girl. BUT, she also can't get this idea of her body being a commodity out of her mind, it steals her dreams, invades her thoughts, and so, she believes, the only way forward is to find a man who will be stand in as her client and allow these fantasies to become reality... trouble is, dreams like this, and men like Jovica, are dangerous to know!

This book is so not your classic romance, What would you label it as and what was it like to write outside of your normal comfort zone?

No, Dangerous to Know is not a romantic book by any stretch of the imagination, in fact Ellora's Cave, the publisher, have put it in the Exotika line, which means it's all about the sex and the journey/experience of that sex. No wedding bells, red roses or cuddling up on the sofa for my couple! It's erotica, plain and simple. What was it like writing out of my comfort zone? Mmm, it was new but because of Anything for Him, not the first time I'd tried it. I enjoyed it though, very much, I adore my romantic erotica - which is the sub-genre the majority of my novels fall into - but it was a refreshing change to be all about the filth, especially in a short, snappy story that goes straight for the main event, no messing around!! I'm eagerly waiting to see what erotica readers make of this book.

What part of this story was your favorite scene to write?

The end actually, but of course I can't tell you that here, it would be a complete spoiler, but I like to think it shows just how risky her behaviour is, and how both bad and good her 'client' is. I've also given the story a '...ever after' so readers can imagine what the future holds.

If this couple participated in Casual Smex Friday, what segment do you think they's like the most? The Quickie, Afternoon Delight or Midnight Grind?

Definitely the Midnight Grind! That's the deal!

Do you have any project's you'd like to tell the readers about?

Oh, can I? I have a really, really busy and exciting few days ahead, because not only is Dangerous to Know out on the 1st of Feb, Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs and myself is out on the 4th! 'What?' I hear you ask, 'Are you talking about Lily?' Well, some of you may have caught publisher Total-E-Bound on the International News last year when they launched Clandestine Classics they caused quite a stir by asking some of their authors to add steamy, saucy scenes to old Classics such as Pride and Prejudice, A Christmas Carol, Wuthering Heights (to name a few). I was one of these authors and was lucky enough to get my hands on Tarzan of the Apes (all of these books had to be out of copyright) and spent a few months in the jungle with Tarzan and Jane penning in all the scenes readers previously had to imagine, and I can tell you now, Jane is one seriously lucky lady, Tarzan is hot, hot, hot!! You can find out much more about Tarzan of the Apes, listen to his famous yell, enjoy pictures and find buy links, on my Tarzan website page

The Midnight Grind…

The line between naughty and dark is oh so tempting to cross sometimes. How far will you go for a smexy thrill? Ms. Harlem takes us there with a steamy, pulse raising excerpt for your reading pleasure...

Oh, the way he said the word whore was delicious; his wide mouth seemed to pull out the “r” at the end as if savoring it, playing with it.

“Do you want me to be?” I asked brazenly.

He shrugged. “Keeps it simple, I suppose.”

I twitched the side of my mouth into a half-smile even though I wanted to beam. It seemed I’d just found a man to fulfill my forbidden desires and make all my bad dreams come true. “Then yes, I’ll be your whore.”

“Just mine?” He pulled on his cigarette, but this time when he blew out, the smoke shot from his mouth in a thin stream.

“Yes.”

I rubbed my hand over my chest, tweaking my hard nipple. His gaze followed my movement then slid over my right shoulder. I heard footsteps.

Someone was coming.

He glanced back at me, as if daring me to stay in my exposed position. Always one to rise to a challenge, I kept my legs spread. Willed my knees to stay apart and my pussy bared. I was desperate to clamp my thighs together—as a rule, I was not an exhibitionist and had no desire to flash my cunt to any old Tom, Dick or Harry. But I could and would do this—it was a means to an end.

In my peripheral vision a woman appeared. She wore a cerise cardigan and walked a ginger boxer dog. She didn’t pause as she stepped past us, nor did she look back and notice my bare pussy. Well, why would she? It was broad daylight, this was a park, why would my intimate female flesh be on public display?

He raised his eyebrows and I had a sudden rush of accomplishment. I’d surprised him—clearly he’d thought I’d tuck myself from view. Good, I liked to be a surprise. Being predictable was not in my nature, well, not in my whore-self’s nature anyway.

He placed his newspaper on the bench between us and took a last drag of his cigarette before stubbing it under his black boot. “I’m not really one for fucking whore’s pussies, even pretty ones, but…”

“But.”

“I’ll pay you to suck my cock.”

Inside I welled with triumph. The idea of sex as an arrangement, a transaction, was what thrilled me the most. No emotions, no strings. A customer, money and a murky act. That was what appealed to me. Forget candlelit seduction and emotional intimacy, I wanted sleaze, I wanted filth, I wanted to be used as a sexual object by a rough bloke who took what he wanted on a very basic level.

“Okay. Where?” I asked.

He glanced left and right, his gaze searching, then nodded straight ahead. “Down there.”

I looked in the direction he’d indicated. Through the trees and railings, I could just make out a gap in the buildings. “It’ll cost you twenty.”

He shrugged. “Whatever.”

Finally closing my legs, I stood. My knees felt weak and my stomach clenched. This was something I’d been dreaming of, plotting for so long. Never had I thought I’d find the courage to actually go through with my foolhardy plan. The man was a stranger. He could be a complete psychopath and murder me the minute we were out of view. Stuff like that happened to whores all the time. I’d seen it on the news, read about it in papers.

It was a risk I was willing to take.

Stepping ahead, I turned to make sure he was following. He was. Sauntering in that menacingly purposeful stride of his that I’d become totally fascinated by. I also realized now that I was on ground level how tall he was, a whole head above me, and wide too. If he did set his mind to subjecting me to a gruesome back-alley death there was nothing I would be able to do about it. He could squash me as if I were an ant, choke me without breaking sweat.

Tugging at my cheap, tarty skirt, I headed for the location of my first whore experience. As we reached the entrance, he pressed a hand into the small of my back and urged me into the murky world of New York’s dark, dingy alleys.

Casual Smex Friday with Keshia Robertson!

Hello All,

Welcome to the first Casal Smex Friday of the new year! I know it's been a while and you're all hurting for some yummy smex but for the newbies on the block here's a quick breakdown.

3.) The Midnight Grind-For those of you who want to go beyond foreplay and get to main show.

4.) The After Glow Strut- For those of you not afraid to show your love and go for another round.

Today I’m bringing you an interview with the sweetly smexy Keshia Robertson. So close the drapes (or not, depending on what you’re into) and let’s get the smexing started!

The Quickie…

Name: Keshia Robertson

Stats: With homage to our favourite romantic comedies of the 90s, Keshia Robertson writes fresh sensual to erotic contemporary romance with a multicultural twist. When she isn't crafting stories of sexy heroes and witty heroines you can find her on twitter @startswithakesh or on her website discussing her preferred writing techniques or the latest episode of a Korean drama.

Latest Release: Just As Good

Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance

Just As Good Blurb: Evan Hermes traded in romance for pragmatism when he suggested marriage at their New Year's Eve party to his girlfriend Kitt Preston. It was a “suggestion” which wasn’t well received by the love of his life. Though it’s taken him most of the year to figure out the perfect proposal, this time romance is front and center to obtain a yes!

Kitt has been in love with Evan ever since he asked her out during their first year of college. Tall, handsome, and a family man, Evan is the kind of person that most women would be falling over themselves to marry…but not her. Kitt is only willing to say yes to a marriage proposal that is worthy of their love and years together.

Availability: Amazon | Sugar & Spice Press

Smex Quotient: This one is definitely sugar and spice and everything nice! You'll be tempted to turn your casual booty call into a long all night romp of smexy naughtiness!

The Afternoon Delight…

Kitt and Evan are so cute together! The book begins with them several years into their relationship. What made you decide to begin "Just As Good" at that point in their relationship?

I was always really interested in what happens after the “happily ever” part of romance books but until that point, I only wrote about two people who just met. For “Just As Good” I wanted characters who were in a scenario that a couple could relate to. Especially over the holidays with too much of reality working into their couple-dom but of course romance fighting back for a win.

I loved the relaxed banter Kitt and Evan have with each other and that you set their story in the midst of family gatherings. Being surrounded by family isn't usually romantic, but you somehow made it work and work quite well might I add. Why did you decide to set it up this way?

After knowing each other for so long (since college) I pictured Evan and Kitt to be the kind of couple who reacted the same to each other anywhere and would be able to get the sparks flying even with the family inside the cottage as well *laughs* so they are kind of a frisky couple. Plus Evan's family jumped off the page with their attempts to engagement plan so I wanted them along for the ride as well.

Kitt delivers a great line in the book, "You must really like my messy," after Evan reveals that he loves her in all of her complexity. *SIGH* This couple is just all sorts of sigh worthy sweet and sexy. How do you go about reaching that balance when you write romance?

I mostly go with my gut when it comes to that sweet-sexy balance in drafting up a story and try to create those moments as much as I can while still being authentic to the couple and where they are in their relationship.

If this couple participated in Casual Smex Friday, what segment do you think they's like the most? The Quickie, Afternoon Delight or Midnight Grind?

I would have to say Midnight Grind for this frisky couple. They would definitely would enjoy the sexy excerpt foreplay.

The men in Evan's family sound both sexy and hilarious. Do they/will they have stories of their own? If so please list them so I can crush accordingly!

I loved the Hermes men as well and they basically came to life of their own accord with the sibling banter. I don’t have stories planned out for them in concrete yet but I’m definitely not saying goodbye to them.

The Midnight Grind…

There's nothing sexier than two people who've known each other long enough to make the smexing and loving last. So pull down those shades and put on some slow jams. This sweet and spicey couple will have you begging for more so get ready because here's a smexy excerpt for your reading pleasure...

4 days before Christmas

A second chance for Evan to propose felt about as miraculous as Santa Claus standing in the middle of his living room with an inheritance grand enough for him, Kitt, and their future children’s children to each share comfortably.

As a grown man, it was kind of silly to believe in things such as the miracle of the holidays, but even after discovering Santa’s nonexistence at the age of eight just as his mother lost her battle to cancer, he still saved some hope for Santa during the holidays.

Kitt had left the house that week to spend it helping her mother and stepfather get ready for their trip to Barbados. Evan shivered before pressing the doorbell to Kitt’s parent’s house. She had been the friend he lusted over for a greater part of first year until he confessed to her and they became a couple. He would forgive Santa for allowing people to say that he was someone who didn’t exist if the old man had his back for just this one holiday. He wanted to make it a Christmas that Kitt wouldn’t be able to forget.

Kitt opened the door with a large pink suitcase rolling behind her.

“Are you immigrating to my parent’s cottage?” he asked.

Evan smiled at her as Kitt stuck her tongue out at him. He knew her to be a person who traveled only after packing half of her closet even if it was just for a day.

“I always win your parents and brothers over with my runway model wardrobe,” Kitt teased. “And you know I have a lot of hair products.”

“I would figure,” he said.

Her thick, curly hair formed small spirals around her shoulders. It had been their first source of conversation after Kitt asked to stand under his umbrella on the first day of university classes. He had looked down at the shorter girl beside him seeing only curls, large glasses, and flawless brown skin before he decided that he had fallen for her.

He reached for her suitcase. “I’ll take that.”

“Ah…holding doors and carrying all of the heavy things…” she said. “Good boyfriend.”

She turned to lock her front door and then walked to his car. The word “boyfriend” was appearing in a grateful afterthought in her sentences. If he had done more than suggest marriage, he would be called “future husband” sweetly instead.
