I've been jamming away to music all week as I write, write write! And as a result my heroine is fierce! I always intended for my female lead to be a strong, opinionated woman, but I have to admit my musical choices have been making it a lot easier to get her personality down on paper. Her anthem and my anthem for this week has been Jill Scott's "Hate on Me". She's marching through my book right now in killer heels and attitude to match.
I'll most likely tone some things down when I eventually get to revisions, but for now I'm letting her rock out on the pages.
